CHARENTON-LE-PONT, France; VENICE and MILAN—EssilorLuxottica has wrapped up its 2024 EssilorLuxottica Days experience, an annual, weeks-long event held in Italy across Venice and Milan, giving eyecare practitioners and customers from the U.S. and throughout the world the ability to experience a behind-the-scenes look at the company's eyewear design and manufacturing from start to finish. Over the course of three weeks, visitors had the opportunity to tour EssilorLuxottica's factories and Experience Center, immersing themselves into the company’s mission while engaging in unique brand experiences that offered opportunities to see and touch not-yet-released collections and technology.

Launching from Venice, the visit this year included stops at the EssilorLuxottica factory in Agordo, where visitors spent the morning experiencing design and production operations and getting a first-hand glimpse at careful, made-by-hand craftsmanship, innovative technology, logistics and automation to ensure precise manufacturing, as well as safety and quality control testing measures. A closer look at the production of acetate, injection and metal frame materials was also provided. A visit to the company’s factory in Sedico provided another firsthand glimpse into the artistry and precision of eyewear manufacturing.

In Milan, visitors were welcomed into the EssilorLuxottica Experience Center in Tortona to browse and interact with the latest collections in frames, lenses, instruments, and learning and business programs. Collections being showcased included Ray-Ban, Prada, Ferrari, Oakley, Moncler and Persol, as well as Leonardo learning sessions.
